Applications and the rule behind each
  • GIS halls and cable basements: SF₆ at floor level (heavier than air)
  • Refrigeration machine rooms per EN 378 (R-134a, R-125 blends, R-22 legacy)
  • Fire-suppression rooms (R-227ea) leak detection
  • Multi-point sampling with GDC-S52

FAQ
Where to mount?
15 cm above floor level in GIS halls and cable basements — SF₆ is five times heavier than air and pools low.
How is it calibrated in the field?
Zero/span check with a test gas and a magnetic wand; the calibration record per unit is traceable to national standards.
Does it detect refrigerants?
Yes — F-gas refrigerants (R-134a, R-125, R-22, R-227ea) with the corresponding range configuration.
